| The next stage was to create
a complete 1:10 model of the complete forecourt to iron out
any small problems. This was then presented at Board level and
underwent full market research to check that it was meeting
our client’s aims.
Having passed these rigorous tests, we went on to build full
size prototypes of the elements including a totem, column
and a section of the canopy and fascia.
Armed with the full documentary results, we inspected the
pilot sites – the initial phase being a range of ten
forecourts in the Moscow area. This coincided with a pan-Russian
PR programme heralding the new identity. Because of subsequent
well-publicised events, the programme has temporarily been
put on hold.
In the meantime we are working with Yukos to establish their
position in the former satellite states.
